About Dezitech Engineering
Dezitech Engineering is a mechanical engineering design and precision manufacturing company based in Pune and Karad, India. We work at both ends of the product lifecycle — turning concepts into validated designs, and turning drawings into finished, inspected parts.
Our story
Most engineering projects lose their money in the gap between design and manufacture. A design house draws a part it will never have to cut. A machine shop quotes a drawing it had no hand in. Every tolerance argument, every re-quote and every delayed first article lives in that gap.
Dezitech was built to close it. Since 2014 we have run both halves of the work in one company — a design office in Pune covering concept engineering, 3D modelling, simulation and drawings, and a manufacturing plant at Karad cutting gears, machining components and inspecting them against the same drawings we produced.
That structure is the whole point. Manufacturability is engineered in rather than discovered late, because the engineer specifying a tolerance knows which machine has to hold it. When something does go wrong, there is one team to call and no argument about whose drawing it was.
Today we serve customers in the UK, USA, Italy, Australia and Kenya across oil and gas, refrigeration and HVAC, water, mining, aviation, renewables and fire fighting.
MISSION AND VISION
OUR MISSION
We do that by closing the gap between how a product is designed and how it gets made — so cost and manufacturability are decided early, not discovered late.
OUR VISION FOR 2030
To be a leading product design and manufacturing company — delivering innovative engineering and precision-manufactured products to the oil and gas, off-highway, mining, refrigeration and valve industries, and trusted as a long-term export partner in the USA, UK and Italy.
Known for taking an idea from concept through to a certified, precision-manufactured product — not for filling a gap in someone else's process.
Chosen by customers in the USA, UK and Italy for the reliability of our engineering and the precision of our manufacturing, working as an extension of their own teams.
The most admired engineering employer in our region — judged on the quality of the problems we solve, the ownership we give, and a culture of integrity and continuous learning.
WHY DEZITECH
Dezitech brings design and manufacturing together as one capability. Our engineering team works directly with the shop floor, so products are engineered to perform and designed to be made. From concept to production you get one accountable team — specialist engineering depth, qualified manufacturing capacity and rigorous inspection, with fewer hand-offs between you and a production-ready product.

One integrated capability, from concept through to production.
Designs developed with manufacturability, quality and cost in mind from the outset.
Mechanical design, simulation, manufacturing and supply chain under one roof.
Drawings, specifications and customer requirements read to BS, ASME and ISO conventions.
Senior engineers engaged from the first sketch through to the shop floor.
Fewer hand-offs. Faster decisions. A shorter path to production.
Quality and compliance
Our operations are certified to ISO 9001:2015 by TÜV SÜD South Asia (Certificate Reg. No. 99 100 25563), covering the design, manufacturing, and supply of precision gear box assemblies under rigorous Quality Management Systems.
Awarded ZED Bronze Certification by the Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (Government of India) under the MSME Sustainable (ZED) Certification Scheme for precision machinery and equipment manufacturing.
Leadership and people
Programmes here are led by people who have shipped product. That is a deliberate choice about how the company is staffed, not a claim about attitude.
Chief Technology Officer
Nearly 30 years in product engineeringOur CTO leads technical direction across design and manufacturing, and is named on several patents in mechanical product engineering.
Engineering bench
Specialists, not generalists on rotationSimulation work is led by PhDs with industrial experience, and gear manufacturing is run by people who have spent careers on hobbing and grinding machines.
WHAT WE COMMIT TO
Splitting design and manufacture across two companies looks like a procurement decision. It behaves like an engineering one — and the difference shows up in the places below.
| SEPARATE DESIGN & MANUFACTURING PARTNERS | WITH DEZITECH | |
|---|---|---|
| Who owns manufacturability | The design house draws it; the shop finds the problem at first article. | ■Decided during design, by engineers who run the machines that hold it. |
| When a tolerance is queried | Two suppliers, two positions, and a delay while they resolve it. | ■One team answers, because the same team drew it and cut it. |
| Getting to a price | Design fee first, then a separate hunt for a shop willing to quote it. | ■One quotation covering design and manufacture, or either on its own. |
| If a first article fails | Accountability sits between two contracts. | ■One named owner, from RFQ through to delivery. |
| Making a design change | Re-issue, re-quote, re-negotiate with the manufacturer. | ■Change assessed against real process capability and cut the same week. |
| Who holds the tooling | The manufacturer, which makes them expensive to leave. | ■We develop patterns, fixtures and gauges in house — and the drawing pack is yours. |
| Low volumes and legacy parts | Often declined, or priced to discourage you. | ■Viable, because we make our own patterns and tooling. |
| Proving the design | Analysis bought separately, if at all. | ■FEA, CFD and fatigue analysis in the same building, led by PhDs. |
| Quality evidence | Varies by supplier and by order. | ■ISO 9001 processes, inspection reports and material certification every batch. |
| Payment terms | Often payment up front to an offshore supplier. | ■Open account trading with 30-day export credit. |
HOW WE WORK
Placing engineering work offshore raises fair questions. These are the ones that come up most, answered plainly.
Our engineers work to BS, ASME and ISO conventions with GD&T applied the way your own team applies it, and we ask before we assume. Where a drawing is ambiguous, you get a query rather than an interpretation.
Correspondence and documentation are in English, and our team is trained in client communication and etiquette as a matter of course — not left to pick it up.
Programmes run under NDA with segregated project teams and controlled file access. The drawing pack is yours — you can take it to any manufacturer, ours included.
We hold no lien over designs we produce for you, and we do not reuse customer-specific design work elsewhere.
Our processes are certified to ISO 9001, with in-process and final inspection, SPC, and documented NCR and CAPA closure on every batch — not just the first article.
More than 100,000 parts shipped to the USA and UK is the answer to the consistency question. The first order is the easy one; the hundredth is the test.
Yes, and it is often why customers come to us. We develop our own casting patterns, fixtures, locators, cutting tools and gauges in house, which makes short runs viable that a larger supplier will decline to quote.
A drawing, a sample, or a worn original is enough to start.
We run production planning and tracking on a plan-versus-actual basis with escalation built in, so a slip is raised while there is still time to act on it.
Proactive communication of a delay is a commitment we make explicitly, because the alternative — finding out on the due date — is what actually costs you money.
Whichever you need. Send us a brief and we will design it; send us a drawing and we will make it. Design can be bought as a full programme, as named engineers for a fixed duration, or as on-demand capacity.
Manufacturing is quoted per part, from first article through to volume supply.
Three ways to engage
How you engage our design office is your choice. Manufacturing is quoted per part, from first article through to volume supply — and design and manufacturing can be engaged separately or together.
Concept → 3D modelling → prototype → production hand-off
We take the programme end to end and hand back a validated, production-ready design pack.
Named engineers · fixed duration
Engineers assigned to you for an agreed period, embedded with your team and working to your standards. Predictable cost, no recruitment.
Surge capacity, no standing overhead
Drawing packs, CAE runs and detailing picked up at short notice, scaled as projects demand.
Ready to engage
Send us a brief and we will design it. Send us a drawing and we will make it. Either way you get one team and one point of accountability.
